Privacy Policy

The short version
SheetSnap does not collect your data. Your photos, PDFs and the spreadsheets made from them are processed entirely on your iPhone and are never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no servers that receive your documents, and we could not read them if we wanted to.
What stays on your device
- Photos, screenshots and PDFs you import. Read on device, converted on device.
- The tables SheetSnap recognises, and any edits you make to them.
- A downscaled copy of each captured page, kept so the app can show you the original beside a cell you are checking.
- Your app settings, such as whether you have finished onboarding.
All of this is stored in the app's own container on your device and is included in your device backups if you have those switched on. Deleting a document in SheetSnap deletes it from the device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
What SheetSnap does not do
- No account, no sign-in, no email address.
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or advertising SDKs.
- No tracking, no advertising identifier, no data shared with data brokers.
- No network requests of SheetSnap's own. The app has no code that uploads your documents, because there is nowhere for them to go.
Recognition
Text and table recognition uses Apple's Vision framework, which runs on your device. No image is sent to Apple or to us for recognition.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you contact us for support, we will have whatever you choose to put in that message. We use it to answer you and nothing else.
Children
SheetSnap is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Everything the app holds is on your device and under your control.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of SheetSnap ever collects anything, that will be stated here and in the App Store privacy labels before the version ships.
